Ask a questionIs my site big enough for hydro?
Head times flow is what matters, not the look of the stream. Sites with as little as three metres of head can pencil out if flow is steady and the interconnection is close. We run a no-obligation screen from public gauge data before recommending any field work.
What about fish and habitat?
Modern low-impact hydro is designed around passage from day one - screened intakes, minimum-flow bypasses and fish-friendly runner geometry. We treat agency consultation as a design input rather than a box to tick at the end.
Can you modernise a plant we already own?
Yes, and it is often the best return in the portfolio. Control and runner upgrades on a plant built in the 1970s regularly recover meaningful output for a fraction of greenfield cost.
